— Louisville Metro Police said Friday that a driver who had to be pulled from the interstate by ambulance was suffering from “multiple injuries” and was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Metro Police said officers responded to the area of the intersection of West Main Street and I-65 at about 10:40 a.m. on Thursday for a report of a vehicle being hit by another vehicle.
A police officer spotted a black Dodge Charger that had been struck by another car, and the driver of the Charger was transported to a local hospital with “multiple injures and multiple critical injuries,” Metro said in a news release.
The Charger driver had multiple injuries and was transported by ambulance to a hospital with serious and critical injuries, Metro said.
He was listed in stable condition.
